A dream song: On a cliff with my three-year-old daughter, we watched long grass in a valley below, blowing like ocean waves. She flew a kite, a little afraid of the wind. I sang to comfort her: ‘Is that a kite you’re flying, or is it your dream? Don’t let it go, Running Before the Wind.’ Years later, visiting the Waipio Valley in Hawaii, I realized it was the lush green valley from my dream.
